Most of the work you see here is photographed on location but I have recently acquired a small studio space in Muncie, In for more specialized work. Welcome to my sports gallery! I have been shooting sports professionally for going on 30 years and in the past 20 years, primarily for Getty Images covering professional and collegiate football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, etc.for global distribution to publications, websites and commercial clients. In addition to wire services, I have also photographed sports for commercial brands and institutions including Tyr, NBC, NCAA, Big Ten Conference and countless higher education athletic departments. Luckily, I am based in the collegiate sports hotbed of central Indiana and typically cover sports in all of the surrounding states in addition to occasionally traveling nationwide for events.

Nearly 20 years ago I started my freelance career with Wireimage covering primarily sports (before being absorbed with sports being folded into Getty Images) but was also invited to shoot a fair share of entertainment events in the midwest as well. I am still one of a very small group of photographers who shoots sports and entertainment events for Getty with live music and concerts being the focal point of my entertainment coverage. I am based in Indiana and typically cover events in all of the surrounding states in addition to occasionally traveling nationwide.

As a sports photographer, I was naturally attracted to photographing dance since the skill set and required equipment were pretty much in perfect alignment. I'll travel all around the midwest for dance events and competitions.

I have fifteen years of experience of working full time as a former staff photographer at a Div 1 university in Indiana in addition to a wide variety of freelance gigs for various universities around the midwest.
